Jag fick lite tid över för ett par veckor sedan o. då passade jag på att bocka plåt.....allt som allt så har jag tillverkat 4st plåtar för ovansidan samt 2st frontplåtar och 2st vardera för landställs plåtarna innan jag blivit nöjd, dvs innan jag fick ut en av varje sort. / I had som e time over for a couple of weeks ago so I decided to make all the metall plateing out of 0,2mm´s metall sheeting. Before I was completely satisfied I had to experiment some and to get one good set I had to make 4 top plates, 2 front plates and 2 each for the landing struts. This was really time consuming but I´m really happy and satisfied with the end result. So it payed off being "notchy"..!! Problemet med dessa 0,2 mm tryckplåtar är att dom som all plåt har inre spänningar som är svårt att få bort. Jag har provat bl.a att värma med gasol låga mm innan jag kom på´t.....dessutom så har ju trä kroppen ingen helt symmetrisk profil utan den lever sitt eget lilla liv o. då gäller det att bocka plåtarna någorlunda rätt. Jag har använt totalt 240st små plåt skruvar att fästa upp det hela med....och nu är jag HELT nöjd o. kroppen o. stabbe/vingar går nu över till lack fasen....men innan dess så skall jag limma dit alla zick-zack listerna först, precis som jag gjort på kroppen.../ the problem with such a thinn metal sheeting (only 0,2mm) as with all metal sheeting, is that it has so much tense built in and it´s not that easy getting rid of all the tension, yes I tried to heat the sheeting and it helped some...and also not to forget that the wooden work on the fuselage is not symmetrical at any point so even that part has its own life..But now I´m happy and satisfied. I used 240 small metal screws to keep the plates in place and it looks real scale like....so now its only paint left...!!!
